PREVIOUS YEAR'S HUNTS:
Imagine for a moment a quieter, simpler time, before television or computers, when people relaxed and entertained themselves by sitting around a table or on the floor, working puzzles or playing games. They would talk, about the puzzle or game before them, or about the events of the day, their lives…
is based on puzzles and was chosen, in part, to help raise awareness of autism, a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Often, autism is represented by a puzzle piece which depicts the ambiguity and mystery around the causes and understanding of autism. The hunt also coincides with National Autism Awareness Month and World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.
So while having fun solving our many puzzles, please consider making a donation to help fund research into the causes, prevention, and treatments for autism. See our Autism, How You Can Help section to learn more.
To kick off our 7th Anniversary Sale (click HERE to see sale flyer), we set up another real life treasure hunt with the treasure this year being $4,000 diamond earrings hidden somewhere in Glastonbury CT, which brings our hidden treasure total over 4 years to nearly $25,000!
One again, if you can find them, you can have them!
For those who think Glastonbury residents will have an unfair advantage, using on-line tools should allow anyone from any location to solve the puzzles.
"X" Marks The Spot
Once again, our insurance company didn't like us hiding actual diamond earrings so this year, in the spirit of the puzzle theme, what we really hid was a black diamond scrabble letter "X" pendant that will be used as proof to receive the actual diamond earrings at our store (you also get to keep the scrabble pendant)!
0.039 ct. t.w. diamond scrabble letter "X" pendant crafted in sterling silver with 13 round cut, black diamonds on an 18-in. chain ($200 value).
So get out there and enjoy the hunt, but whether or not you win, we just hope you'll enjoy the moments along the way!

Please read the Official Rules HERE if you plan on participating in the hunt.
